English:
Civitas Fortissima memorial by Péter Párkányi Raab (2002 bronze statue). On a polygonal two-tiered low base stands a two-figure bronze statue on a stone pedestal about a meter high split in two, one of which is a one is a lion-headed winged creature (griffin??) lying on the back with With one of his claws, he reaches for the half-naked women. The woman wearing armor gloves and arm armor. She is about to stabble a spear with an ensign tip into the monster. -- At back the former Hotel Ipoly - Civitas Fortissima Square, Balassagyarmat, Nógrád County, Hungary.

Civitas Fortissima-emlékmű (Felállítás 2002, Párkányi Raab Péter) Civitas Fortissima (Legbátrabb Város). Már 2002-ben megvoltak tervek a tér átépítésére ami csak 2013-ban valósult meg. A tér Eleőd Ákos tervei alapján készültek el, ezzel magyarázható a szobor talapzatába vésett "Térépítész: Eleőd Ákos" felirat. A szobor leírása (kép alapján) Sokszögletű kétlépcsős alacsony alapon áll egy kettéhasított(kettéhasadó) kb méter magas kőtalapzaton kétalakos bronzszobor, az egyik egy orszlánfejű szárnyas hátán fekvő lény (griff??) egyik karmával a félmeztelen nőalak felé nyúl, miközben az páncélkesztyűt és karpáncélt viselő karjával egy zászlós végű lándzsát készül beleszúrni - A közelében van Civitas Fotissima téri napóra (2013) A napóra márványborítást kapott, a körülötte lévő körgyűrűt pedig fakockákkal burkolták. A téren volt az ún. Köztársaság téri díszkút, az absztrakt, samott szökőkút Szabady Veronika 1974-es kiállításából maradt a városban, a a '80-as években eltünt/ellopták?; Megj. egy gallery.hungaricana.hu fotón egy másfajta szökőkút látszik - Nógrád megye, Balassagyarmat, Civitas Fortissima tér
