I almost forget that I have more LB cart pictures to show you. I actually have several more to post over the following days. These toters are quite old. Not original Rehrig old, but old nonetheless, as I'll doubt Long beach bought these after 2004. These carts, like with other Toters, are very durable, as to this day, I have only seen one with a crack, and its not even in a "critical wear area", as Toter would call it. It well be very easy to see these reach 30, while Rehrigs would lose their lids and develop cracks after passing the 5 year mark. You may have noticed the lid is as white as a antarctic valley. This is because Long Beach is, and has been, using post consumer recycled plastic for their carts. While this is good and all, the thing is regular plastic isn't UV resistant. This means that over time, the lids fade over time. Especially when the cart is always outside. this why you see their carts with white lids, sometimes biting the dust. |
