Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1920: This crop of the contemporary city map of Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany is focussing on Helmholtz Realschule (today: Helmholtzschule, Gymnasium) at Habsburgerallee. The school was opened as a Realschule for boys with pre-school classes in 1912. The crop shows the situation between Zoo, Herderschule, Brüder-Grimm-Schule, and Dahlmannschule which is unchanged until today. The ground plan of Helmholtz Realschule shows annexes of the main school building which were destroyed through Allied bombardment in WWII and not re-erected after war. In the Northwest was the annex building for the school's director and its beadle.
