Français : Vaches "Higland Cattles" œuvrant ici à la gestion écologique et donc différentiée d'une partie du tour des remparts de la Citadelle Vauban de Lille.
Ces bovins n'hésitent pas, gratuitement, à brouter l'herbe des fortes pentes et de la berge peu accessibles aux tondeuses. Rem Il est utile de mélanger différentes espèces d'herbivores qui ont des régimes alimentaires complémentaires (ici le mouton de Soay et également présent). Dans un environnement urbain très fragmentant pour la nature, ces animaux transportés d'un espace vert à l'autre jouent aussi en quelque sorte un rôle de corridors biologiques ambulants en transportant divers propagules dans leurs poils, sabots et tube digestif. Ceux-ci s'abreuvent dans le fossé (cunette) de la citadelle et offre une animation appréciée du public
