Description
English: Church and graveyard at Faughart Church ruins, associated with St. Brigid and believed to be of 12th-century date, situated within a large circular Early Christian period double-ditched enclosure of which the southern arc survives only as a cropmark visible on aerial photographs. A stone marks the grave of Edward Bruce killed at the Battle of Faughart in 1318.
