The writer believes the above to be afaithful and fair criticism of the Knightsof Pythias lodge, viewed in the light ofHoly Scripture. There is only this con-clusion that we can reach—that theKnights of Pythias order belongs dis-tinctly to that family of lodges of whichMasonry is the mother, and all of whichtogether constitute a great part in themodern development of that system op-posed to the truth of God and His Christ,and with respect to which Scripture ex-horts : Come ye out from among themand be ye separate, saith the Lord, andtouch not the unclean thing; and I willreceive you, and will be a Father untoyou and ye shall be my sons anddaughters, saith the Lord Almighty(2 Cor. 6:17, 18).
