| Description |
English: Chough, near Slea Head This was taken from a layby on the R559 between Slea Head and Coumeenoole. This was one of a small party of choughs feeding on the cliffs, its favoured habitat, and was very obliging in posing ! The chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) is a rare bird, with small populations in Pembrokeshire, Cornwall and South West Ireland, and is always a pleasure to see. |
