English: This a very ancient beverage made out of fermented cacao seeds and corn. Used in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Español: Esta es una bebida ceremonial de cacao, hecha a partir de maíz y semillas de cacao fermentadas por un largo periodo (9 meses) dentro de un hoyo en la tierra.

This picture was taken in La Merced Mercado, in Oaxaca City. It was an honor to try it, as it is a tradition that is dying.
