Description
English: A schematic of the "chinese" or human body meridians. The chinese meridians are used in various oriental fight styles, as well as in healthcare; e.g. in tradititional herbal medicine, massage techniques, ... The schematic was based on an image of the Northern Crane Martial Arts Association dojo (http://www.northerncrane.net/ANATOMICAL%20ACUCHART.jpg ). Permission was given for the use of the image at wikimedia commons by sensei Phil Perez.

In a following version, the muscle entries can be removed and the meridians can be mirrored from left/right and vice versa (depending on anterior/posterior view)

If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.


It is recommended to name the SVG file “Chinese meridians.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
