Of all fruits known to cultivation, the Strawberry is conceded to be the most luscious, and is a universal favor- ite; yet it is not grown by one-half - the people who might grow it just as well as not. It is but a few hours work to plant a Strawberry bed and care for it during the year, and no work can possibly yield a better return. Strawberries bought in the market are not to be compared with the lus- cious ruby beauties, fresh and ripe, from the vines. EARLY OZARK. The First and Best. This is not only the very earliest Strawberry t>> ripen, but it is the most vigorous and luxuriant grower we have ever seen. Berries Arm, glossy, of a deep rich red color and extra good quality. It is large and productive to a remark- able degree and hardy and robust. There is no douot about its being the earliest Strawberry and the best extra earjy sort. 50c. per dozen; $2.50 per 100. NORWOOD. The Monster. The Norwood is the largest Strawberry in existence.- Plant is strong and healthy, berry conic and regular in shape; quality unsurpassed and the ^ize unequalled, some attaining the enormous size of three inches in diameter. Four such berries would fill a box. Color, bright red. is firm, a good keeper and will ship well. Has perfect blos- s 'in - and holds its size through the season and remains in bearing a full month. 60c. per dozen ; $3-00 per 100- BULL MOOSE. The Late Bearing. A new seedling which has thus far proved to be the very latest of all Strawberries to ripen. In New Jersey it is in full fruit July-first, which is quite remarkable. This sort will prolong the strawberry season to a considerable extent and be valuable both for the home and market- Good size, fine flavor and color. Per dozen $1-00. Per 100. $4.00. HUB. The Beautiful. •'Hub" is a seedling of Bubach and Belmont, raised in Mass. The fruit is large, smooth and firm, dark glossy red in color, and it shines as if it were varnished..It is the most attractive strawberry ever grown. Plants of the "Hub'* are productive, with perfect blossoms, and their season is from medium to late. They have enough strong, healthy run- ners, but no excess. In quality it ranks with the very best- in every respect. There is no doubt, nl out it< s, , plants each of Early Ozark. Nor- wood.
