Pole Bear*s. I/ong Podded I/ima-The acme of perfection in a pole LimaBean, and one that is at least one-half more prolific thanany other variety. This strain has been developed byMr. A- Vanderveer who has spent more than twentyyears bringing it to its high state of perfection. It is arank, vigorous grower, bearing under any conditions amuch larger crop than any other. Each pod contains fiveor six beans while others contain only three or four. This alone makes a 25 per cent, larger crop, while the in-creased number of pods brings the average yield up tonearly double that of any other Lima. Its quality is alsosuperior. Mr. Vanderveer has marketed as high as $60worth of green beans from 60 hills, and gathered a bushelfrom eight hills at one picking. It is certainly a greatacquisition, and comes at a time when people havefound out that it does not pay to plant Bush Limas onaccount of the limited yield. Pkt., 15c; pint, 35c.; quart,60c; peck, $3.00. Mammoth Podded I,ima, (King or the Garden
