Subject (TGM): Indians of North America; Events; Mayors; Tribal chiefs;
Location: Oxford, Ohio
The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad celebrated its centenary in Baltimore, Md., and took the chief and his tribe of Blackfoot Indians from Glacier National Park there for the celebration. The trip home, on an original coal/wood-fired engine, stopped in most towns along the way, including Oxford. Chief Two-Guns White Calf's profile was used on the buffalo nickel; a likeness of the nickel is around his neck.
