Description

80-25-H Recordings of Chief Pharmacist Adolph Wessel Meyers American POW 5 inches Diameter

US Navy Chief Pharmacist Adolph Wessel Meyers was a POW in a Japanese War Camp. Chief Meyers served at the US Navy Hospital on Guam when the island was captured by the Japanese on Dec 10, 1941. The recordings were messages from Chief Meyers to his wife. Chief Meyer’s First Aid kit is on display at the US Navy Museum at the Washington Navy Yard.
