DESCRIPTION Autoglyph print of the Cheshire Railroad repair shops in Keene New Hampshire, taken before 1886.They were built in 1866. Francis A. Perry, master mechanic, drew the plans and superintended the work. Consisting of a machine shop, blacksmith's shop, and carpenter's shop, it was built in a continuous line and started building locomotives in 1868.
