| Description |
The black tear marks that begin from the corner of the eye and run down the sides of their face from their nose down to their mouths are a unique feature has big benefits for cheetahs. These markings play an important role for by reflecting the glare of the sun while hunting. They are especially helpful in open plains where the glare of the sun is extremely bright. In addition, by minimizing glare, Cheetah can remain focused on moving prey during what is usually a very high-speed chase. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is 90000 acres of open savannah grassland, and has the richest diversity of wildlife in kenya outside of the Maasai Mara. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
