Français : D'après les autres photographies de la série, ces chasseurs appartiennent soit au 11e soit au 51e BCA. À partir de janvier 1915, ces deux bataillons combattent ensemble au sein de la 47e DI (2e brigade de chasseurs jusqu'en novembre 1916 puis 4e groupe de chasseurs jusqu'à l'armistice). Les soldats portent sur cette photographie le casque Adrian adopté fin 1915, sur l'uniforme sombre des chasseurs.
Documents sur Gilbert ROBERT : photographies de groupe du 11e bataillon [de chasseurs alpins]. Comptable, fils de François ROBERT et Mme GUESNE. Recruté à Riom (département du Puy-de-Dôme, France), classe 1902, matricule 955. Mobilisé le 12/08/1914. Passé au 11e bataillon de chasseurs alpins le 18/08/1915. Nommé sergent-fourrier. Médaille de la victoire, distinction italienne. Démobilisé le 08/03/1919. |
