Description
English: Charles von Rafenstain is a published author mostly known for his medieval novels "Der Ritter von Rafenstain" (2021) and "Katrines Lied" (2022).

Born in Bozen, South Tyrol in 1976, he attended the Art College of Ortisei and after living for some time in Scotland, he finally moved to Denmark in 2001, where he lives to this day.

His novels are tipically based on actual events and persons, which he revives through almost forgotten sources and documents from historical archives.

Charles is known to be an enthusiastic and avantgarde thinking author, balancing between the strong medieval heritage of Tyrol and his unique signature of creating quality books on a sophisticated, yet pleasureable way.
