English: Charles Alexander of Lorraine (1712–1780), the brother of Francis I Stephen and widower of Archduchess Maria Anna, was an imperial field marshal and governor of the Austrian Netherlands. After the death of Clement August of Bavaria, he succeeded the latter as 52th Grand Master of the Order of the Teutonic Knights in 1761.
