Summary[edit]

Description
English: Describes nip in rope as not just equal force rigid parts but greatly different for greater to crush lesser as nip. The Tension is not only the force in rope but effects the rigidity as well. 180 arc gives greatest single friction reduction per unit, to then also be less rigid rope part. so is less likely to pull out along length from lower tension, AND is pinched to 'constrict flow of force' past nip, to 'nip in the bud' growth of the Bitter End into the system more.
