Description
Français : Le Dr Nikola Taptas inventa cette chaise en 1903 et en fit usage dans le procédé d'amygdalectomie qu'il mit au point dans les années suivantes et qu'il publia en 1913 dans cet article : A propos de l’énucléation et de l'arrachement des amygdales palatines. Ma chaise d’opération. Annales des Maladies de L’Oreille et du Larynx, (39)2: 334-338. Ce procédé fut par la suite reconnu et pratiqué dans toute l'Europe (L'amygdalectomie par le procédé Taptas, par G. Departout, La Presse médicale, 1933).
