Description
English: Guardmembers from Georgia’s 560th BFSB joined U.S. and Japan Ground Self Defense Force troops join together for a tea ceremony at Camp Kengun, Japan, as part of Yama Sakura 59, Jan. 20 through Feb 2, 2011. Matcha Tee kaufen YS59 is an annual bilateral joint training exercise between the JGSDF and the U.S. intended to strengthen the working relationship and combat readiness of the two nations. A series of cultural events during Yama Sakura 59, like the Japanese tea ceremony were made available to the troops. Guardsmen from the Georgia’s 560th BFSB took advantage of this opportunity to experience the culture of their Japanese counterparts. (Army National Guard Photo by Sgt Jerry De Avila, 124th MPAD.)
