Description
Español: Factor Solidaridad está gestionando la Red de Centros de Desarrollo Regional “Pirí Inchalá”, con el apoyo de la Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo.

Se han implementado tres centros del conocimiento en Uruguay, dos en la ciudad de Montevideo, y otro en el centro poblado Mal Abrigo y área rural circundante, en los departamentos de San José y Colonia, donde se han detectado problemáticas socioeconómicas y de acceso a las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TICs).

Los Centros conforman un espacio social y cultural donde las TICs son una herramienta que utilizamos para promover el desarrollo de las comunidades más desfavorecidas, conectadas entre sí y con el mundo.

Los objetivos son promover el desarrollo social y local de los colectivos mas vulnerables, a través de la alfabetización tecnológica, en forma gratuita, mediante la utilización de software libre – GnuLinex – y en el marco de la educación no formal.
