English: Central Park is a large public, urban park in the heart of Manhattan in New York City. It is host to approximately twenty-five million visitors each year. Central Park was opened in 1859, completed in 1873 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1963.
Nederlands: Central Park is een groot stadspark op het eiland Manhattan in de stad New York. Het is het bekendste park van New York en misschien zelfs van de Verenigde Staten. Met zo’n 25 miljoen bezoekers per jaar is het park het meest bezochte park in de Verenigde Staten. |
