Description
English: The Mechanics' Institute at Church and Adelaide Streets, Toronto, Canada. The Toronto Public Library Board took over the collections and building in 1883 after Toronto voters approved the free library by-law. The building remained a branch of the library until 1927, and was demolished in 1949.
