Description Facade detail, Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute, 1923 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. This building is the Stotesbury Mansion, built 1897, architects Cope & Stewardson, now on the National Register of Historic Places. The Thomas McKean House, built 1869, demolished 1897, architect Frank Furness, formerly occupied the site.
