AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 14.44 g, 9h). Obverse die signed by Choi(rion).
Facing laureate head of Apollo; [to left, XOI above bow]; kithara to lower right, [AΠΟΛΛΩN below neck]
Charioteer, holding kentron in right hand, reins in both, driving fast quadriga right, preparing to turn around Ionic column in background to right; above, Nike flying left, crowning charioteer with wreath; in exergue, KATAN[IΩN] above crawfish right.
Italiano: Sicily, Catana. Circa 405-403/2 a.C.
AR Tetradracma (26mm, 16.99 g, 10h). Conio del dritto firmato da Choi(rion).
Testa Apollo di prospetto, leggermente volto sin, con corona di alloro; [a sinistra, XOI sopra arco]; kithara in basso dx, [AΠΟΛΛΩN sotto il collo]
Auriga, tiene pungolo nella mano destra, redini in entrambe, e guida una quadriga veloce dx, mentre si prepara a girare intorno a una colonna ionica; sopra una Nike in volo sin, incorona l'auriga; in esergo, KATAN[IΩN]; sotto un gamberetto dx.
