Description
Català: Les Quatre columnes eren 4 columnes, amb capitells corintis o jònics, obra de l'arquitecte Puig i Cadafalch, aixecades l'any 1919 a on actualment hi ha la font de Montjuïc, a Barcelona (Espanya).

Simbolitzaven les 4 barres de la Senyera catalana, que estaven destinades a convertir-se en un dels símbols del catalanisme. Motiu pel qual van ser enderrocades l'any 1928, durant la dictadura de Primo de Rivera, que va eliminar sistemàticament tots els símbols públics de catalanisme, per tal que no tinguessin el resó que li podia donar l'Exposició Universal de 1929 que havia de tenir lloc a Montjuïc.

Pel mateix motiu la dictadura va anomenar finalment Poble Espanyol, a la mateixa muntanya, al que s'havia de dir Iberona, en homenatge als Ibers, primers pobladors de les terres catalanes, i va anomenar així la Plaça d'Espanya, col·locant dues torres venecianes.
