English: So-called Portrait of Duke Charles of Mecklenburg (1785-1837), but is probably a depiction of his father Karl II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1741-1816)
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of Grand Duke Karl II (see images below), on the other hand, his son Charles was born in 1785, but the wig worn by the sitter is from the last quarter of the 18th century therefore he is discarded as a model.
