| Description |
English: Built in 1924, this Jacobethan Revival-style building was constructed as a residential hotel known as the Castlereagh Hotel, and has since been converted into an apartment building. The building features a red brick exterior, limestone trim, limestone cladding at the first floor of the front facade, decorative carved reliefs, six-over-one and four-over-one windows, large bays with french doors, sidelights, and transoms at the first floor, a front entrance door with an arched pediment and cartouche above, decorative gable parapets, a passage for cars to access the rear parking area, two-story bay windows, and quoins at the corners of the building. The building today is known as the Castlereagh Apartments. |
