Description
English: Castillo templario de Ponferrada consta de un gran recinto poligonal (más de 8.000 metros cuadrados) con dobles y triples defensas formando barbacanas, torres, estancias y un gran patio bajo o albacar. En la Edad Media fue una de las mayores fortalezas del noroeste de España para los templarios.
