Italiano: I casali della cittadina di Montella, in Irpinia, sono gli antichi gruppi di case che anticamente formavano il paese; fino a quarant'anni fa Montella appariva fisicamente divisa in piú parti, non un tessuto edilizio unito come quello odierno. Tra i vari casali citiamo Sorbo, Garzano, Fondana e S. Simeone, dove è stata scattata la presente foto.
English: In Irpinia (Italy) the Montella casali are the ancient groups of houses that in ancient times, merged together, formed Montella village; till forty years ago the village appeared to be divided in different parts whereas today is one block. Amongst the ancient casali we can name Sorbo, Garzano, Fondana and S. Simeone, where we took the picture. |
