Meu querido Pay e meu Senhor,

Principiei a escrever a V.M.I. pela mª propria lettra, mas não pude acabar, entrei a chorar a tremer me a mão e não pude remete pª prova da mª verdade e principio q tinha feito eu todos os dias rogarei ao céo pelo melhor dos pais q a mª desgraça tão cedo me fez perder. Sempre serei obediente filho e siguirei os ditames de meu Augusto Pay.
Beijo as augustas mãos de V.M.I. como obediente e amte filho.
