Summary[edit]

Description

The village of Carrbridge lies a few miles north of Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands. It's named after this old packhorse bridge (ie it had no sides). The bridge dates from 1717 and is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands.

In the past I've seen teenagers jumping from the bridge into a deep pool below but that sort of thing is frowned on today!
