English: Engraving of a bust which was believed to depict Carneades.
Originally publicated in: Georg Wilhelm Zapf, Gallerie der alten Griechen und Römer sammt einer kurzen Geschichte ihres Lebens. Geschrieben von Hofrat Zapf, in Kupfer gestochen und herausgegeben von G. F. Riedel, 2 vols., Stuttgart 1781–1783. This scan is from table XI of the new edition which was published in 1801 by Christoph Friedrich Bürglen in Augsburg, repeating Riedel’s engravings.
