Summary[edit]

Description

It is always wonderful to see a large flock of Carnaby's Cockatoos feeding.

We were on our way home from a day's exploring and stopped to photograph these majestic birds especially as they are a Threatened bird species.

The noise from them eating the pinecones at the same time squawking was very loud as it was a big flock.

They are a large bird with a white patch on their face and white in their tails. Also known as the Short-billed Black-Cockatoo.
