| Description |
English: Carlingcott the west end The lane up to Peasedown is on the left, straight on down the hill to Wicklane and Camerton.
The signpost stands on what might be called the village green, but Carlingcott was a mining village and had little time for such fripperies. That road was very icy but there were a few patches that could be walked on. |
