Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Clay Weis, Cryptologic Technician Technical 2nd Class Jake Wallace, Information Systems Technician 1st Class Jack Shrader and Airman Michael Fleck share some time with a young patient during a Caps for Kids visit to the Children's Hospital in Boston. The visit was just one of several events planned for Old Ironsides Sailors during Boston Navy Week. Others include a similar visit to the Jimmy Fund Clinic at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, a community service project at the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans and the presentation of colors at the nationally televised Boston Pops 4th of July Spectacular. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
