English: Capri and the Sorrento Peninsula are arguably one of the most beautiful and visited coastlines in the world because of the crystal clear sea and enchanting landscapes. This year, the COVID-19 outbreak has caused devasting effects on the economy and tourism is one of the most severely affected sectors. This image acquired by a Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite on Easter Sunday shows the total absence of maritime traffic between Capri and the mainland during, what is normally an extremely busy day for tourists to visit the region.
