Summary[edit]
DescriptionCapel Saesneg Criccieth - geograph.org.uk - 349734.jpg |
Cymraeg: Capel Saesneg Criccieth
English: The English Chapel, Criccieth, Gwynedd. It was built by public subscription on land donated in 1878. This non-conformist Victorian church served the English-speaking congregation every summer for just over a hundred years.
Services continued up to the early 1980s, when disrepair made the building dangerous. It thereafter fell into disuse. It was later restored and opened as an art gallery - The Chapel of Art. It is now closed and for sale. See also 461528 461533 461537 461543 |
