Summary[edit]

Description
English: A stall selling candles and wax offerings in different shapes. The wax offerings are presented to Mount Mary at the time of the Octave. They signify the objects the devotees desire. Doll-shaped candles represent the desire for offspring; limbs indicate the wish for curing/ replacing an afflicted or amputated limb; and houses indicate the wish to own a house. The candles are sold outside Mount Mary Church, Bandra, Mumbai, India.
