Information was cheerfully furnishedat the Golden West booth to those whoasked and those who were sufficientlycurious to ask about the business of theStandard Soap Company were given acomplete surprise when told that thiscompany, now well known to be doingan enormous business throughout thewhole of Western Canada, was formedonly twenty-one months ago. Cnder thedirection of its officers, President I.Burns, General Manager F. T. Weir,Sales Manager T. WINNIPEG PURE FOOD SHOW The Canadian Groce and soap products lias advanced byleaps and bounds in a manner at onceso almost instantaneous, and yet sofirmly and solidly, that, from what waswithin the period of two short years butan idea in the brain of a resourcefulman, the Standard is all that its nameimplies and has increased its businessso fast that work is now in progresswhich will double the producingcapacity of the Calgary plant, a movemade necessary by the favor which thecompanys goods have found in the mar-kets of Western Canada. The Standard Company now have avery large output and the golden opin-ions won for the Standard products arethe result of honest and skilled work-manship coupled with energetic efforton the part of the officers of the cor-poration and the salesmen selected bythese officers to represent the companyin the different sections over which theoperations of the Golden West manage-ment have so rapidly
