Summary[edit]

Description
English: Caption: "Canadian troops lining up their armored motorcars for review by King George. English people were much surprised to learn that the Canadian expeditionary force, shown here on Salisbury field, had brought with them equipment and supplies modern in every respect. They thought their, cousins from across the sea were coming from the backwoods where armaments consist mostly of old-fashioned muskets and coonskin caps. One of the surprises that the Canadians brought was this fleet of heavy armored automobiles, furnished complete with rapid-fire guns and searchlights. This battery was the gift of a wealthy Montreal resident, who supplied every article, even to the smallest, for a complete motor battery outfit."
