Description
English: Camping at Seilag on an inland sea kayak trip Sea kayaking down and back up Loch Shiel is an excellent introductory multi-day trip for sea kayakers in sheltered waters with no tides to worry about. This was our second night out with the kids - paddling a double and two single sea kayaks on our way back to Glenfinnan. The tiny island on the left of the photo is actually made of polystyrene, anchored in place and not a geographical feature at all. We believe floating "islands" like this are provided as nesting places safe from predators like foxes.
