Summary[edit]

Description
English: In 1756, Rev. Archibald Campbell (1708-1784) requested that a road be built that would connect his glebe to the Ridge Road (present-day "Kings Hwy") and to the Road to Piper's Mill (present-day "Stoney Knoll Rd") (Images A and B). The road that was created is the road today called "Dickinsons Corner Dr" (Image C). With the creation of Dickinsons Corner Dr came the intersection of Stoney Knoll Rd and Dickinsons Corner Dr, that is, Dickinsons Corner.
