Description
Deutsch: das Regionale Naturschutzgebiet Isonzomündung liegt im östlichen Teil der Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien entlang der letzten 15 km, des gleichnamigen Flusses auf einer Fläche von 2.338 Hektar, von denen 1.154 Hektar marines Ambiente sind. Das Gebiet besteht aus mehreren einzigartigen natürlichen Lebensräumen und ist Dank der Schutzmaßnahmen sehr reichhaltig. Von den in Italien 500 heimischen Vogelarten sind allein hier über 310 anzutreffen. Vielfach handelt es sich um Zugvögel, doch cirka 100 davon sind Nistvögel, die in den Sumpfgebieten beheimatet sind. Des Weiteren Fische, Amphibien, Reptilien und die "Camargue Pferde" sind das das herausragende Element dieses Naturschutzgebietes
