Español: El camalote o flor de bora (Eichhornia crassipes) se ha convertido en un grave problema en determinados tramos de la cuenca del río Guadiana, constituyendo la planta invasora más dañina en Extremadura. La planta es originaria de las aguas dulces de América del Sur, en las cuencas Amazónica y del Plata.
English: The hyacinth flower or bora (Eichhornia crassipes) has become a serious problem in certain parts of the Guadiana river basin, constituting the most harmful invasive plant in Extremadura. The plant is native to the fresh waters of South America, in the Amazon basin and the Plata.
