English: Calymenid trilobites from Erfoud (Morocco). These specimens were sold as devonian Calymene (sensu lato), but they may be better Colpocoryphe sp. (Ordovician) The specimens are exuviae, preserved into a calcareous nodule. The cranidium is separated from the thorax + pygidium ensemble and the librigenae ("free cheeks") are not preserved. |
