| Description |
English: Calvary at The Monastery. Wooden cross on the approach to Father Ignatius's monastery commemorates the place where several members of his order apparently had a vision of the Virgin Mary in 1880 as they were working in the fields, later it was seen by Ignatius himself and several others. Leaves from the field where the vision had been seen were claimed to be able to heal a range of illnesses.
Further down the valley there is a farm named The Vision 273586 but it is out of sight from here. Darren Lwyd is the hill in the background. |
