Description

360 spherical panoramic photo of mission walls under metal roof

You are standing where, in 1775, Father Pedro Font said Mass at Calabazas during the expedition to California led by Juan Bautista de Anza. You can still see remnants of original interior plaster on what would have been the archway into the sanctuary. To the right survives a section of wall that marked the sacristy of the original church.
