English: Cairn at Trum Gelli (535 metres), 3 km from Dolgoch, Gwynedd, Great Britain.
Once you have discounted the views (which are magnificent!) the two and a half mile hike from Tarrenhendre to Trum Gelli is pretty monotonous from a geograph point of view. There is plenty of rough grassland and heather, a smattering of sheep, some fences, a couple of stiles and that's just about it. However, this location makes it all worth while - a wonderful place to sit and contemplate the meaning of life.... and geographing! |
